Seku N. Shabazz is the Founder and President of Great Lakes Family of Companies, LLC, the Managing Member of Great Lakes Investment Partners, CP, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor with Great Lakes Financing, LLC, and the owner of Great Lakes Loan Servicing, LLC.

Seku graduated from Hiram College in 2000 with academic honors. He enjoys bicycling, physical exercise, boating, vegan cooking, wine tastings, and reading classical literature. He has one son, two brothers, two nieces, and several close relatives. He also donates the majority of his philanthropy and free time to Breakthrough Public Schools of which he is on the Board of Directors. Breakthrough Public Schools is part of the portfolio of schools for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. The schools specialize in Inner-City education for families that are in severe poverty. The mission is to provide a warm, safe, and dry atmosphere that allows a great education to be given to everyone who lives in the City of Cleveland.

Executive Assistant to President/HR

Nancy graduated and received degrees from both University of Cincinnati and Baldwin Wallace University, and has over 15 years experience as a senior level executive assistant. In addition to her work as a Major Gift Officer and Fundraiser at The City Mission for over 6 years, Nancy has also served for 3 years as an Executive Member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and as an Executive Member of the Grant Writing Professionals Association. She has worked for Great Lakes Financing for over 2 years as the Executive Assistant to the President, and functions as Head of Human Resources. She is the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the President.

Nancy lives on the west side of Cleveland with her beloved husband, Wayne, and is the mother of 3 terrific kids. In her free time, Nancy enjoys reading, cooking, and kayaking. She currently serves as a volunteer for the Tall Ships Festivals held in Cleveland and as a Red Coat at Playhouse Square.
